1-2 Winter Music Program
Wednesday, December 18 at 7:00 pm
Dear L.U. Families,
With winter just around the corner it is hard to believe that we are looking at winter break coming up and the halfway point of the year shortly after that in January. Our students and staff (and YOU!) have been working hard since the year started and that may be why the time seems to be going by so quickly.
December is a busy month for many of us and we are working hard here at LU to keep up with the pace. Our annual holiday music program for our 1st and 2nd grade students will be taking place on Wednesday, December 18th at 7:00 pm in our cafeteria/gym. As with all of our special events, please remember that parking is limited and it is recommended that you show up early if you intend to get a parking space and seat!
Our Booster Club sponsored book fair will be taking place in the library from December 16-20. There will be preview days the Thursday and Friday before for students to view what is available. If you are interested in volunteering to help with sales, please contact Kara Hurd.
December is typically a mild month for weather in our neck of the woods, but we do occasionally get a surprise blast of cold, inclement weather. There is a link on the lower left hand side of this page for information on school closures and delays. You will be able to find the latest information related to our school status there.
I wish you all a safe and happy holiday season and GO WOLVES!
